Responsible for all work, including design, modeling, texturing, rigging, motion capture performance (using the Optitrack system), motion capture data cleanup, lighting, rendering, and compositing. Background was created from a still photo that was camera mapped onto 3D geometry, using camera data I shot using Optitrack's virtual camera system.

Busta Rhymes, Twerk It
VFX Supervisor: Stephan Zlotescu
Description: Juyoung Do and I were responsible for the design, modeling, texturing, and lighting, motion tracking, and compositing a CG mask of the comic book character, Venom, onto Busta Rhyme's head. Using blend shapes, we lipsynced animated the Venom head mask to match Busta Rhymes' vocals. We were also responsible for the vfx of Busta disintegrating a bystander with a raygun. -
WGN, Salem Promo
VFX Supervisor/Producer/Editor: Eric Diga
Description: Juyoung Do and I were responsible for a 3D model based on the posters used to promote the WGN original show, Salem. The poster depicts a woman whose flesh is melded with an ominous looking tree. The poster was built entirely in Photoshop, so a 3D version of the poster was built for air. -
Pix11, Sounds of the City
Production/Concept/Editing: Young Bum Kim
Description: Summer station ID for Pix11. 3D models were created to replace the backboard of the handball court, as well as the metal sculpture at Union Square. CG models were lit, color corrected, and matched to the background plates. Minor motion tracking was done where the Pix11 logo was integrated into foreground elements such as a cab door, coffee cups, and headphones.2013 Winner of a New York City Emmy for Promotion-Image

Pix11, Thanksgiving Pix11 Style
Station ID for Pix11, utilizing motion capture data based on the popular Gangnam Style youtube video. Responsible for all CG, including modeling, rigging, rendering, lighting, and compositing. Originally the promo was to use a live action set, with a motion tracked CG turkey, but unfortunately the set did not meet the standards for air, so a CG set was built.

WGN Loreal Promo
Producer: Andreas Lee
Description: CG of Loreal products, created using live products as reference. Texture maps were created from scanning the products and product boxes, and mapping them onto 3D models. This was part of a movie tie in with "What Happens in Vegas", but unfortunately never went on air. -
Pix11, News at 5, A New Perspective

Description: We produced this promo to illustrate the behind the scenes steps in delivering news stories. Concept for this piece began when I envisioned creating worlds within a worlds inspired by a Japanese cartoon I saw. Thorough planning and testing was done prior to the shoot to assess the workflow and feasablity. Description: Promo for Phillies capturing a moment in time. Shot with a Canon 5D and 7D, I motion tracked blank television screens and added custom images. Still images of various Phillies shots were camera mapped onto 3D geometry. -
DC50, 30 Rock Promo
Promo for 30 Rock, using the postcards theme we developed for DC50's branding. A 3D model of the Rockefeller Center building was constructed, and integrated into footage shot by Christina Voros on location at DC. I motion tracked a card my hand was holding and composited the shots as if the card was a window into the 30 Rock universe

I am a designer, illustrator, VFX and motion graphics artist. My work extends from television, corporate, music videos, to film with clients that include Hype Williams, Kanye West, Busta Rhymes, and Nicki Minaj. I have done broadcast work for stations such as WGN, Pix11, DC50, PHL17, Antenna TV, Fox43, and SFLTV.
